People love to read a good book. It enables us to go into another world without leaving our own world. Suspense books are especially exciting to read. I am going to show you how to write creative suspense fiction books. If you are a creative thinker, and can come up with fantastic twists in the story line, then you can write these types of stories.
Before you can start to write a suspense fiction, you will need an idea of your story line. It is easier to outline your story, going step by step through each dilemma that your characters will go through. I have heard that some writers actually write the ending of the book first, and then the beginning and the middle of the book. This method of writing is worth a try.
All suspense books need the two main characters, the good guy, and the bad guy. The bad guy is that character everyone hates and the readers want to see him meet his demise. Then you have the good guy that always saves the day. He or she is always liked by the readers and for the most part good guys can do no wrong.
When writing any book, it needs to be written in such a way that we know each of the main characters. What I mean by that is to know the emotional feelings, and what the two main characters are thinking. An exciting thing to do is not telling the name of the evil guy until toward the end of the book. Make it a huge surprise for you readers. Anything that you put in the book like that, the more the readers will excited about your book.
All writers want to keep their readers active in their story. One way of doing that is to use several different plots and twists through out the book. It is a good idea to keep the evil guy always out the get the good guy. Write the plots that could actually happen, unlike science fiction writing where you can use monsters and aliens if you wanted to do that.
You should now have your two main people locked in the story. Next you should add some characters to interact with the two main people. Have one or two lovers in the mix, as well as mutual friends of the two main characters. Keep the extra characters roles believable and real. You can do this by thinking about your real life, keep those characters like your real friends.
What makes a good suspense book worth reading? The one word answer in short is secrets in the book. One example of that would be to name the bad guy near the end of the book. This is what readers want from suspense books. The more secrets and twists you write in your book, the more likely it will be a successful book.
At this point I have given you several different things to think about as you write your next suspense fiction book. One of the things you must do is imagine yourself as the reader. This will help you in understanding if your story is gripping enough to keep the readers from putting the book down. This is how authors become recognized, and more successful.
