There are over 120,000 nursing positions that need to be filled up in the United States and the nursing schools are doing their best to address this. It is projected that this shortage would even increase at a very high rate.
Nurses can name their price. Some are making as much as $60-70 per hour. Yes, these are the best of times and the worst of times for nurses.
